I have had TORS problems in the past but was able to solve it by loosening the throttle cable. This is not working this time. The only way im able to stop it is by disconnecting the TORS. I am thinking that ther may be a problem with one of the trigger sensors either in the throttle assembly(at handlebar) or the sensor at the bottom of the Idle Adjustment Screw.

Sled is a 97 vmax 700.

Any ideas?

check cable

check cable end that screws into the carb the end should lift out mine started to do it and the cable would not life out i change the cable and it works great

JUst make sure you check your throttle before you start it on these cold days comin up ahead, especialy if you rode it the day b4...or you cud blastoff....

Make sure you have lube on your carb where the throttle shaft enters the carb (the shaft that moves when the cable moves) I cleaned my carbs this fall and didn't relube them, my first ride I had trouble with the TORS.
