Here Is Where I Am At. 2003 Viper Er. Heel Clicker Kit 4grams Heel,4 Grams Tip. Middle Hole Empty. Red Spring. 47/41 Advant Edge Helix With The Green Spring At 60 Degree Wrap.rpm 8600 All Day. Took It Out For A Nice Long Ride Last Night. Hit A Nice Straight Away And Boy Did It Hook Up . When I Looked At The Speedo It Only Read 94mph. Tried The Same Run Again On The Way Back. Same Speed. I Know It Should Go Faster Than That!! When I Got Back To The Garage I Noticed That 2 Engine Mount Bolts Fell Out And One Nut On The Exhaust Manifold Was Gone. It Is The Mount Right By The Primary Clutch. Could This Be My Top End Problem? Need Some Help On This One Cause I Am Stumped!!

the problem is the helix that's way to steep advantage meausers there helixes differently. There 47-41 is equivlent to a 53-45 or pretty close dalton,or micro belmont helix.
Mr viper just gacve me a set up for a viper put in a 48-34 micorbelmont helix there 85.00 through micro belmont and the sled will haul butt and have top end

well if you want to run his set up that's fine but the set up I have from mrviper hauls the mail and heas alot more top end over stock

The single piped viper is one of the few sleds I will use weight in the middle hole on h/c's. The set up pro116 speaks of works pretty good and will show you around 118-120mph on the speedo, which is around 107-108mph real life. I believe if you look here there s a 03 viper guy who just tuned that set up in and he was checking it with his gps.

In no way am I saying dont try turks set up, try it, then try something else, just write down your set ups that way if you go backwards you can resolve the problem with ease.

WHAT WOULD YOU RECONDMEND FOR MY WEIGHTS IN THE PRIMARY IF I RUN WITH THE 48-34 micorbelmont helix ? STAY WITH THE GREEN SPRING? I AM CURRENTLY USEING THE HEEL CLICKER RED SPRING IN MY PRIMARY.

I Had The 47/41 Helix And He (turk) Gave Me The Weight Set Up That Would Work For That Helix. Im New To The Clutching World. Trial And Error I Guess You Can Say. Thanks For The Input Guys.

Your lucky the sled would even move with those issues you had! Fix everything & run it again. Won a lot of races with that exact set up!!!

Thanks Turk. Going To The Local Yamaha Dealer And Getting The Torque Limiter Kit And Installing That Tonight. After I Get It All Fixed Back Up I Will Report And Let Ya Know How It Is Going. Thanks Again Guys.

Mr. Viper I would love to get this set up for my 2004 Viper it is single pipe stock no studs only mods are the Idler wheel spacers for improved Hyfax wear, engine torque limiter and my dealer put in a green secondary spring and some Dn-20's with heavy weights in the primary clutch. I have Yamaha part numbers for the parts he put into the primary not sure exactly but can find out for sure.

Wel After The Long Day Of Taking The Engine Out For The Broken Bolt. Which By The Way Was Not Hard But Took Me A Couple Hours. Put On The Torque Limiter And Engine Put In. Aligned The Clutches. Boy Does This Rip Now. Has Been Below Zero This Week So Really Never Got The Chance To Open It Up All The Way. I Can Say That It Does Break 100mph No Problem Now. Even With 2 People Riding. Thanks For All The Help Guys. I Love How The Sled Is Working For Me Now.
