I got a 96 500 vmax that threw a rod through the case. Is the 97 the same as the 96? what about 94-95? can I swap a 500 for a 600 twin? is the wiring harness the same for 500-600? besides jetting and clutching would I have to change anything else?

I have a '97 600 Twin if you need one, comes with wiring harness, exhaust, carbs, pretty much everything but the primary. Check the pics and let me know if you have any interest. Motor has 4200 miles or so and ran perfect before the rest of the sled was totalled while in the back of my truck when I flipped it.

No, the 97s are different. Do a search I believe Dnale did the samething......
so is 94 95 and 96 all the same???? are the wiring harnesses the same???
