02 sx600 clutch weights

My notes say I put 4.5 heel and 3.7 tip in the 8dg's but I still overrev to 9000. 4.5 and 4.5 seems a little heavy. Did I do something wrong? I think the recommendation was 1 g up on each from stock...grn secondary wrapped to 60, everything else stock.

I have a 01 vmax 600 that ran at 9000. Turk suggested 4.5/4.5. I am running around 8600 now.
