bellypan, exhaust pipe, right front shock are all trashed. Shock tower has a small tweak in it, so the estimate calls for a whole new bulkhead. Looks like it could be straightened though. Maybe weld a piece of aluminum on there if needed. Hood has some cracks but still usable. Probably will wait to get a different hood until Haydays.

I'm guessing the insurance company will total it out. Going to call them tomorrow.

I'll try and post up some pictures of the damage. I plan on buying the sled back and fixing it myself. I've got too much money into it to let them take it.

that sucks! at least the parts are cheap. you still have the stock pipe to put on it? you could even get a black bellypan and go with the 04 racer graphics the spiff it up a bit.
edit: forgot about your seat. that might not look good with it!

I LOVED how the prox (like yours) looked. I thought it was about the most sexy thing out there at the time, besides a viper ;) sorry to hear all that happened, but glad to hear when someone is putting a trashed sled back together! Eric

long track it now that you need a new tunnel, 141, all the way. talk to SRXSPEC, see what he would charge, would get done faster than we could do it. OH, do you realize two weeks ago you put on a new trailing arm and radius rod.
just given a little jab, good luck, the garage is still 60deg.

hit the thing with a hammer, make a piece for the snowflap, finnish riding the season, fix it right over the summer, ride the deep stuff next winter. that way you can still ride this year and save up for the good stuff.
 
fasttoys17, just read your PM and OUCH that looks like it hurt! If you need a cross-over tube for the rear end let me know, I have extras removed from stockers. You can have it. I would take the big hammer to it for the rest of this season and ride it. If you are looking for someone to replace the tunnel this summer let me know and I will give you a quote.
