I am looking to upgrade front shocks on my Viper - does anyone know of an aftermarket unit that will fit without any mods. The stock ones are ok but I have to replace one - it was a KYB B47E. I was told that a used one would have to come from an 05 or 06 unit - the 04 has a different part number. The cost of 1 unit from Yamaha is high - just thinking I could get a set for only a bit more.

I would cointact pioneer performance.They could revealve your shocks and they would be as good as front ohlins or there an ohlins dealer you could get a set of them.There one of the best yamaha shock service companires.
I tried them - they do not have anything either.
