FuzzButt...I just installed a 48/42 helix but haven't had a chance to test it out due to the extreme cold weather we have been having (-40 C) . I have a silver secondary spring wrap at 60 and stock primary setup. I am leaving on a 500 mile trip this weekend do you think it will perform ok?

I don't know all that much about how changes in helix's will effect performance. So going with that I'd say it should be ok. I would bring the old stuff and your wrenches with you so you can make changes. When I changed mine I had over reving issues then under reving before I got it right. I'm still a little high by about 200 RPM but it seems to be consistently running to ~8000 and staying there.
