I pondering the idea of selling my sled and getting a Phazer. What do you think my sled is worth?
Its a 98 600 sx. It has:
a 97 700 engine which was rebuilt in 2001. It has a new yamaha crank (updated), new pistons(ceramic coated), ported cylinders (hyper logic)
boost bottle, boyseen reeds, peak performan head, tempa flow, bender pipes (ceramic coated), EGTs and water temp gauge. It has srx floor board coolers and a 700sx rear cooler.
Its got a BLT like front suspension with work shocks, an easy steer pivot, and an Exper X rear suspenison. 9830 track studded.
It got heavy hitters, 911 primary cover and a hyperlite secondary.

Have you ridden a phazer, and what kind of riding do you do? (You're talking about a new phazer, right?)

I dont know in your area but if we had snow here you would get $4000 for that.

Id rather have the sled you have over a phazer IMO
yes if your going from a ported 700 to a pahzer your going to be dissapointed in hp.It's about the same weight as your sled but less hp.If you don't care about top speed and like tight twisty trails the sled is a blast.

I figured its down on hp. Most of my time is spent with the wife on the trails at 40-55mph. Maybe I ought to ride one first. I was thinking that I could get more out of mine rather then selling her 600sx for a down payment on a new one. Then let her ride the phazer when we are together and I'll ride it when she not along. Is it boring on the trail? Who knows tommorrow I'll talk myself out of it.
It's awesome on the trail it's a riot, but if your riding with buddies you won't be able to keep up unless it's all woods riding.

Keep your sled - I couldn't see the Phazer as a trail sled .... if you went out and rode hard for a couple of hours I think it'd be great, but if you like to put more than 100 miles a day on I'd pass. Sell the wife's sled and buy her a Phazer and keep yours!!

i second what xsivhp says, sell your wifes and buy a phazer. ive never ridin a phazer but your sx is one of my favorites!

I'm keeping the ole girl.. The poor ole lady took a real beaten on the short travel sx. I think I'm going to put a poo or cat skid in the rear and long travel the front. I don't think she going to be riding it that much anyways. I like the thought of the 08 vector.
