i have heard conflicting stories about an 1.25 rip track rubbing on the tunnel and will i lose top end having one

You will loose top end whenever you go to a deeper lug track.
Rubbing, will rub some but really not an issue.

the only place a ripsaw might rub is the front heat exchanger protectors, if your not gonna stud, take them off problem solved.

no problems here, had to take of protectors but I'm not gonna stud it anyhow. As for top end still beating them all, for now

You have to remove the tunnel and heat ecxhange protectors or you can trim your track so the lugs don't hit yes you will lose a couple mph on top end.
