The Heat Reduction is Amazing!! give the pipes like 5 minutes from a hard ride and they are nice and cool, its awesome. They have been coated for 2 years. It holds up VERY well to the abuse i put them threw. Worth the money man.

They still look new! 2 years, that's great! Maybe this summer I can get them done. I need to replace my center pipe. It's got a big dent in it from the previous owner, trying to make them fit under the hood. So I had a buddy weld a flat piece over it to make them look presentable, well the weld is coming apart. Bender wants 250.00 for one stinkin pipe. Doo you guys know if I can get it patched properly for a reasonable cost?

dude listen to this, i heard it from a buddie with a dent in his pipe too...
this is what im going to do. Fill the pipe with water, right to the tip and freeze it. Try and block the water so when it freezes it dont come out of the ends so the water will freeze, pushing the dent back out. i heard it worked so im gonna try it. better then buyin a new pipe!

Way we remove dents sometimes is just weld a rod to the deepest part of a dent then put a vice grip or something on it VERY tight and hammer on the vice grip to knock out the dent. Then once you get the dent out, gring off the rod and buff it smooth. Then paint it or do whatever you need to make it look perty again.

I would be lery of poping dents out with ice! It will work but what would be the differance in time from poping and splitting the seams.I have seen ice split 3\16 tubeing at work it does have power.

nice fit on the slp pipes allen
coating helps to keep heat in but as for them being cool, no way. if you want to keep temp down under hood you must wrap pipes or shield them. i ran those slps allen has, and srx pipes, the srx pipes gave off alot less heat, i had under hood temp meter for my airbox.
