hey ppl im new to snowmobiles but i got this sled from a friend of mine and its a 1994 but run smooth but once awhile ill be rideing and then TORS will start flashing and sled starts to go back to idle mmm can any1 tell me what TORS means and how can i fix it or just leave it ??????

Throttle Over Ride System - To bypass it unplug the wires near the carb and plug them into each other on the harness side. This will tell you if it is your TORS kicking on. Also could be a tight throttle cable so check the freeplay on it.

It is to keep your sled from a stuck on throttle situation. To test to see that it is working properly when all connected, apply throttle but do not let the pivot point of the throttle move forward. Use your left hand and prevent the thumb throttle pivot point form moving forward when you give it some throttle. It will start to cut out and not allow you to accelerate.

If posible you should try to fix it first instead of just bypassing it...

Daman is right, this feature stops the throtel from sticking. any feature that could save my bacon will be in good working order.
