Will a stock Viper beat a Stock Nytro?


Could be... my ER with a 1.25" predator goes up to 8400 then rises to 8500 and i havn't touched the primary at all, everyone is says that is where it makes the most power so i am happy.... Figured it wasn't over revings cause of the increased track lug, but who knows should be reving around 85-87 stock i would say
 
Results are in, my stock clutched Viper will easily take an RS Vector top end. Guy has a few pounds on me, but we switched machines and the results were similar. With my stock track (144 trail picks), he'd get about 1.5 lengths on me out of the hole (200'), once we hit 70mph I'd start reeling him in fast. In a 2000' race, I'd be 3-4 length ahead at the end. One race I hooked up really good, jumped out front right away and had about 6 lengths on him by the end. :2strokes:

Zachalyse - Any luck getting more speed out of yours?

I'll post my other weekend kills shortly. I got a couple I never thought I'd beat. LOL

I have always been able to beat my fathers stock vector even when my viper was stock. now clutched I just get him sooner instead of from 80 mph on :)
