I am looking to replace my handlebars on my 01 srx. The dealer told me that I am better off installing new grips instead of trying to save the old ones. He claims that you can't save the old grips due to a stong epoxy that is on them from the factory. Is this true? Should I buy ney grips before I go into this or is there a way to save the old ones?
