I use to use amsoil until I blew a few engines.
I doubt it was from the oil pro, thousands of sleds every day run it with
no problems including my 4..

No it's not that bad,,,i've been using it since 1980 and i haven't
had a motor blow up on me yet or leave me stranded by the
trail, it's alright stuff i just think there's better out there..

Daman, you've run that HP Injector and like it?
No the interceptor, yea seems to be some nice stuff, easy to get less
smoke, seems to pull over easier when cold too, this is the first year i've
tried it,just wanted a 100% synthetic oil...

Ran my old venom with the yamalube, 1500 miles and no problems. Friend I sold it to already has another 700+ miles on it, all yamalube.

Now my srx blew up on me within the first half mile, and this was around a parking lot. Seller says he's always used Amsoil. Hummm..........

By the way, if anyone remembered my thread about this srx, it's fixed and has survived 360 miles.

Castol 2 stroke snowmobile Dino oil.

Over 30,000 kms without trouble.

I rather enjoy reading the bs about oils from guys who have some religion to their expensive as hell oil that told some crap about the magical properties of an oil to justify screwin them.

Sheesh...

Can't remember the last time I saw an engine failure from something oil related...other than the oil pump dying or the guy premixing too low.

some jsut have better ability to help the rings last longer. makes sense to me, if it has better lube properties then it should help cold rings slide better when the whole motor is cold.

I DO know a little about oil and nobody's screwing me, i just like knowing
my motors are getting the best oil and additives possible, plus it helps
me sleep at night...

plus i got my FULL synthetic Amsoil CHEAPER than some dealers semi-syn.
yamalube when i bought it...LOL

Amen. "my Amsoil is the best for the powervalves". HAHA I fell for that BS. I tried 4 gallons of the interceptor in the Viper and the powervalves were just as black, sticky, and nasty as they were with Yamalube. Yes a synthetic is better but as far as the "No Smoke, No Smell, Anti-Gumming powervalve formula",what a joke.
