Venture 600 top speed

Hi, Sorry to ask so many questions about this Venture, but does anybody know what kind of top speed a 6oo Venture should get. I am getting only about 120 kph on a hard packed river. I though this was a little slow for a 600 triple.

What are you revving at WOT? Should be no more than 8500 on a long pull, the 600's with stock clutching had a NASTY overrev

It seems to be revving around 10,000 when throttle held down to the bar.

way to high.....like holic said,,,, you need to find out what your clutch
setup is and add weight to your tips

ouch!! that is a nasty overrev. look up sx600r clutching or pm turk to get a setup in there that will pull the way it should. make shure you tell him if you have piped this sled as well.
