Im not sure if this is normal for my sled or not. Its a 1998 600 twin vmax. when i get the rpms up they drop back on its own, the throttle stays in the same position, it is like a car when it switches to over drive is the best way i can explain. it will go all the way up to 8100 rpm and drop back to 7100 rpm. even at half throttle it will go to about 6000 rpm and drop back to 5000rpm. it will do this right through the rpm range. could dirty carbs do this?
