Viper track

If you don't want to much trouble try a 1" Hacksaw with 1.075" studs . This has worked great for me . I know that others will have their favourites too but this was a straight install .
 
I just put on the Camoplast Iceripper prestudded. It's 1.25" with 256 injected studs. I didn't have much more room to go, and for me and my driving conditions it has been really good.

Yup go with a camoplast/polaris 1.5 inch soft lug. Great hookup with that track, but be careful in hardpacked conditions, it is not intended for those conditions and it is very hard on tall tracks like that, such as track overheating, lug ripping, and slide wear. Just make sure you know what kind of trail conditions you ride in and get the track that fits your conditions. For most people, a 1.25" is a much better fit to their riding conditions of on and off trail riding.
 
I was looking at a brand new track that was recently taken off an Apex at my dealer. He said it wouldn't work because my tunnel protectors will rub on the paddles. If I plan on not running studs is it okay to remove tht tunnel protectors?
 
If you are not going to run studs you can rip out the tunnel and heat exchanger protectors (as I did with my 1.25 ripsaw) or some have left them in and let the track "rub" in, others have trimmed the track down where the protectors are located...I have not tried the last two options so cannot comment on how they work.

Ditto.... I went the same root with removing tunnel and front exchanger protectors but went with a 1.25in Predator instead, better off trail track. IMO 1.5in would be pushing it without changing your drivers out for 8 tooths.
 
i had a 1.25" ripsaw, 1.5" poo track from yamaholic, 1.6" camo challenger(cut down from 2") and currently run a 1.75" finger(cut from 2.25") to clear the ripsaw i just trimmed the lugs down 1/8-1/4" in the protectors path. for the rest i had to remove the protectors. if you dont plan on running studs haul out the protectors and keep them in the corner of the garage incase you decide to run studs down the road. all on the 9 tooth drivers.
