Took My Sled In(2000 Srx700)to Get Some Warranty Work Done On It,cracked W-arm,tach.. Had A New Powervavle Assm Put In Last Year And Since Then My Sled Did Not Have The Top End From Before So I Told Them About It When I Dropped It Off,well Yesterday I Went To The Dealer To See How It Was Going And They Showed Me That All Three Powervalves Were Snapped Off Where The Cable Attaches To The Valve!!!!!wow!!!!how Could This Of Happened The Valves Were Tottally Clean And Its A Brand New Servo Motor?the Guy At The Dealer Had Nothing To Say Other Than It Was Covered Under My Warranty.i Want To Know How It Happened For Future Reference!!!!what A Difference It Will Be Now When I Get New Ones, its Amazing How I Ran It With Them Broke And Did Not Even Know

They had to have either been dirty at some point bad enough to cause them to rip through, or they were adjusted too tight and were pulled through when the valves contacted the top of the valve assembly.

They may ( cables ) have been to tight. They have to have that 2.5 mm spec clearence. All mine pulled through and I had to repair them. Thats some warranty you have there for a sled that was built in 2000

I would hazard a guess that the tech that originally put them in did not adjust the cables right and the service manager knew it. That is likely why he covered them. I am guessing that the dealership ate that cost.
