ordering track tonight on the web.Which one??????

I was thinking about that to daman.I am really torn between the 1 and 1.25 tracks.Look at some of the profiles.The 1.25 Predator 6-pitch looks awesome,but may lose speed with it.The top one is a Predator 1".
Middle one is a Hacksaw 1" and the last one is a 1.25 Predator 6-pitch.

That would be the middle one,the Hacksaw.Same version of the Ripsaw,only in 1" lugs.

now if you take the 1" Predator vs. the 1"Hacksaw. Their weight is basically the same within 1lb heavier on the Predator.They are both supposed to be fast tracks,I wander if one is faster then the other or does it really matter at this point.Got to be better then a stock .92 track anyways.

PS:The Hacksaw is $55.00 more in cost.
PS:The 1.25 Ripsaw is $65.00 more then the Hacksaw.

I guess i'm not the one to be talking to i like the 1" tracks for my type
of riding, i don't see alot of deep powder,and if i did a 1" would work for
the little i'd ride in....

hell my .92 yoko's work just fine..LOL
 
yes I think a 1" Track would be good for the SRX,after all it is a lake racer,not a ditch banger or in to the deep stuff.Got my other sled for that with the 1.25 Ripsaw.I got one day to figure out if it will be the Predator or the Hacksaw.
 
FWIW I really like my 1" Predator. Best track I have ever used. If your looking for something that is better in a bit more snow then go for the 1 1/4" version. Since you have the power vs my lowly 600. If your thinking of studding it stick with the 1" full Clipped version.

If I did not get mine from a guy used on Ebay I'd get it from Rich or CB Perf. Rich was very nice to deal with when I got my Ski's.
 
now the 9818,is it the 1.25 Predator with 6-pitch profile.Turk told me to stay with the the 1" Predator.Just getting info for myself before I order one today.

I run the Predator 1" 6-Pitch fully clipped on my 02 Viper and 99 Vmax, and I just purchaed another one for my 92 Vmax-4. They are great tracks in my opinion, night and day difference over the stock tracks.
 
That is great to hear Canuck.That is the track I ordered for my SRX,should be happy with it.Now to find another skid for the sled.I am trying to locate a
Pro-x or Edge skid for my SRX.Will make a few calls locally here.M10 is to much money for me to spend right now.
 
Good thing you ordered the 1" because you would have got something you didn't expect if you ordered the 1.25" The one in the pic isn't it... it's only got 3 different lugs instead of 6 (like the 6 pitch). The 1.25" looks the same as the 1" only bigger.
 
Hacksaw

Kens sports had some good deals on tracks also. I just picked up a new 136X15x1 hacksaw track for $330. The predator 136x15x1 are $320. Going convert srx to 136 after riding my Warrior this year. To me 136 is the only way to go on the groomed trails aroung here rides so much better than the 121.
