Hi guys!

We went riding again today, this was probably our last ride according to the weather report.. but you never know.

My friend with the RS Vector came home so he also joined us along with his brother on the V-Max 4, my brother in law, a guy from the other side of the island with a Lynx 670 and me.

The weather was changing but all in all it was good.

Had to tighten the track on the V-Max 4 because it slipped a little the other day.. . 22mm from the end of the tightening bolt to the skid.

We then rode up to our favourite place. My friend with the RS Vector MTN and I played in this hill, it`s kind of steep.

We then headed for the highest mountain on our island.. .

We decided to take a short cut up to the top, or atleast try. We shouldn`t have.
It was icy. Vector guy rode first, then his brother, then my brother in law and I was last. There was one really steep little hill. It was icy on the top and my brother in law got in trouble. Track slipped on the ice and he had to abandon ship. He jumped off the sled and rolled down the hill while the sled was pursuiting him really close. I think the sled rolled probably 15 times or so, really slamming hard onto the hard icy snow.
Sometimes it was really close to my brother in law, I`m so glad he didn`t get hurt.

If you look closely you can see the top of hill up there.. .

The bars got "bent" backwards but they werent bent, if you know what I mean.
The windshield was smashed, the gauge pod also got some beating along with the hood and the gear shifter lever which got bent.

So sad to damage a sled like this.. but I guess it doesnt matter since the rider didn`t get hurt.

This is also an interesting picture. My friend with the Vector MTN managed to fall of the sled and he ran beside the sled down the hill.. .

Here you see more.. the track got more traction then he planned so the sled threw him off.

We then rode the traditional way to the highest mountain, but there was fog so we didn`t go to the highest point.

Wellwell that`s all for now. I did use the helmet cam a little today and I think I got some interesting shots.
My friend with the Viper managed to roll it 2-3 rounds in a little steep hill and I got it on tape so it`s interesting to watch.

My cousin has a set of mm bars with out the strap but he could slide his strap off his bars on to the new bars.If he's interested let me know i'm shure my cousin will sell them real cheap.
 
WOW...Great picturers. Sorry for the vmax. It is like night and day compaired to Michigan snowmobile riding.

I would like to see the video too.

Sorry to hear about the MM, but shit happens you know!
Glad nobody got hurt, that's the main thing.

Great pictures once again! It really helps on my flu, hehe.

Oh, by the way. Got a used black gauge pod from my 500 if you're interested for the MM. Got one or two small cracks, but nothing you detect with first glance. Can get some pictures tomorrow if you want.

Viper7mi: Thanks!. The nice thing about the crash was that it happened on the last ride (probably last ride) so I have lot`s of time to fix it:).

I think my brother in law will be very interested in the gaugepod, as long as it fits?.
How big cracks?. If ain`t to much hassle for you, a couple of pics would be cool.
How much $ ?.
You don`t happen to have a windshield too?.

My friend with the RS Vector MTN rides infront of me. You can also see his brother on the V-Max 4 with the 121" 2.25" track going up the hill where the viper guy rolled 2-3 times.

wow great video man! Its snowing here today but i dont think its gonna stick around to long with the temps up near 50 this coming weekend. Sad to say i think the season may be over! :o|
 
fastoys i heard we could possibly get a foot of snow if the storm dont change directions. u need to head up by aberdeen heard they have snow.

fasttoys17: Thanks.. . Just come visit med and we`ll go riding:). Have to get another sled tho.. but it would be cool to have a backup sled. It`s been raining here today so I think it`s definately over now.. :(.

No, infact, in my whole sledding carreer I have never, not even a single time, trailered my sled somewhere to go riding. I ride it from my driveway and up on the mountain. Guess I`m kind of lucky that way.

I do not think anyone could keep me off of my sled if I could ride like you can from you house! That is incredible.. Have fun with your Viper..G.B.
