98 SRX Crank Issue

I gave them the VIN just to find out if it was ever done. Flat out they told me Yamaha will not cover it, it has simply been too long. I am going to look at the sled tonight and I will probably pick it up if everything looks good.

I don't know how they can get away with not honoring the reacall anymore.. a RECALL is a recall.. if you live anywhere around Chicago, I have a friend thats a yamaha dealer that i could call and find out for sure!!!

I'm with Gary on this one! There is no such thing as a end to a recall. Try another dealer to make sure.
