Vote for sled of the year!


both made nice steps in the right direction. the doo has the more relaxed seating position of an apex, and the nytro will silence some of the "4 strokes cant jump" people. both are great progress for each respective brand. I went yamaha because I think 4 strokes are the future, and yamaha made it more palatable to people that ride hard
 
lol yea i know daman... you can slap me later. 03 Viperguy is right in the sense that the nytro will silence some of the 4 stroke bashers. Has anybody seen the threads over at doo talk??? The nytro is almost as popular over there as the XP has been over here lately.

1 thing that I don't like about the XP's is that so much of the sled is actually part of the chassis now, I am by no means an engineer but to me that means that if I break or bend 1 thing, I have to replace 3 things instead of 1 (the way the chaincase is on that thing) but I guess having the strength of one part acting as a structural part could help make the sled more rigid too? Like I said I am the farthest thing you'll meet from an engineer... I just weld what the engineers show me on paper lol.

I still like the nytro a little better though
 
the XP should be good and stiff, but anything needs real world testing and to be proven in my eyes. I would wait and see on that big of a first year thing.
