Lot`s of great shots here now!. Gees I recommend everyone to go to the photo store and get some paper versions of your best sled shots. Then bring the pictures with you when you go to the beach in the summertime. The contrast of sitting there on the beach in the heat while watching all the nice things you did with your Yamaha during the winter, is great! . You wount even need beer.

Here's what I did alot of this year seeing as we didn't have much snow. first 2 pics are me skippin no problem, 3rd pic is me as I'm sinking, last pic is after I dove in to tie the rope on to get her back and we were getting the water out. Typical yamaha reliability after a few minutes of pulling to get the water out she started up first try. Hahaha enjoy the pics.

ya ran it the rest of that day skipping all afternoon and a few sweeks after that before the season was over. ran fine just started it with the plugs finger tight ran it around the lake a few minutes, then tightened the plugs and rode it like i stole it. it was near the end of the season so after that i took the seat cover off put it between 2 boards and drove the truck over it a few times then parked it on it for a half an hour. after that put the foam in a small room with a dehumidifier for a week and it was bone dry. never had any problems after the sinking. put lots of fuel stabalizer and water remover in the tank but that was it, never drained the gas or oil. just changed the chaincase fluid. it was only on the bottom for maybe 5-10 minutes before we pulled it up. good old yamahas can't kill them.
SNOW, the better shot would have been the one of your Dad's face as he watched his sled go down. LOL
My fav has to be #38 pic1 (snowcoat) - Great shot!
Would love to know how #23 pic 2 was accomplished???
I didn't get to take many this year, never really got any snow.

SNOWRULES, aha ok I see. In my opinion I think you are lucky to still have a running sled. When my brother in law`s MM700 went under, most of the gas hoses and oil lines were plugged with ice when we got it out.
I cleaned everything and got it up`n running. Ran fine, but suddenly one day when we started it, it run like crap. Took I while to figure out but it turned out to be a bad stator, some wires were fried inside it. What caused it I don`t know.. but I guess it was caused by water some were.
If I were you I would remove the oil/gas tank and dry them out, also pull carbs and clean them.
Gees I don`t want to act like a "besserwisser" sorry.
Yamerdown: Nice scenery !

it was only 5 degrees celcius that day so nothing froze when i pulled it out. mine was only under 5-10 mins wasn't your brother in laws in overnight? plus the best way to get all the water out of the lines and motor is to run it right away heat evaporates the water and gas and oil flow pushes all the water out. at the end of that day i put it in my heated basement with some construction heaters on it to dry it out.
