had some yellow in the garage and the flywheel collects surface rust so i sprayed it on....better then rust.

ill post up the whole sled completed tomorrow!

I've been helping Dave with this since day 1. Let me say it feels good to get this all together, it looks amazing in person, the pictures don't do it any justice. This thing has alot of compression and is a bitch to pull over, we're going to get it running today just need to get all the fluids in it first and tie up a few loose ends (like the coolant temp gauge that we had to modify because it went in too deep.).

We didn't run into any problems really except the coil because the airbox is being replaced with cones, that little bracket was a pain in the ***. But don't lie you love it mastercraft 120v welder no gas ftw.

We'll post a video when we get it running, I have a feeling its going to be really really loud.

all that black really makes that lime green head "pop" when you look under the hood. Looks awesome!!!

still have a few odds and ends to touch up but it is 90% done. ill keep updating on the progress as i go along.

Black is great, the sled looks "killer".
Dont mean to hijack your post but thought ya might not mind seeing another "Max in Black"

Did something simliar last fall-winter with my "Max", gotta love black!!
Didnt do the cool contrast with the motor paint though, cant see much of it
in mine anyhow but did the pipes & powder coated the stock grilles.
Sure had to be carefull when your painting but well worth it. Here are a couple shots of how my Max turned out. Oh yeah, gotta love the polished tunnel, I see you got rid of the paint there too!!
