Has anyone taken a long track suspension, rails, brackets, tunnel extension, etc. from a say 1990 and converted it to a 1996-1998 Phazer, (that came with short track). If so, what did you do to re-rivet the brackets, and tunnel extensions, longer tunnel braces on? Any other modifications? Thanks.

I have a set of rail extentions and a home made tunnel extention to make a Phazer from 121 to 133. It has a new deep lug track also. This would fit a Phazer 2. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Jeff Wurl

I took the Phazer skid with extensions, 121-136, and put it on my Exciter. All i did was make a tunnel extension and found a M Max rear cooler, but you don't have to do the cooler part. It bolted right in no moving brackets or driling to put it in.

I've used stainless steel 1/4" bolts to fasten extension's without any problems.

Gearing change with long track?

When putting long track on, have you also changed your (drive) gear?

I am running 9 tooth with a 136x15x1.25 and I have 1/2" between the frt heat exchanger and track. The Phazer comes with a 8 tooth I think.
