79 Exciter oil pump!!!

Didnt know where else to post this as it is vintage..

Any of you out there know if you can still get parts for the oil pumps on these yamahas? All i need is the seal for the worm gear in side the gear box. Or do they still sell kits with gaskets and stuff. Any info would help!!

IF YA CAN , FIND A OLDER YAMAHA DEALER. HE MIGHT HAVE STUFF IN STOCK. IF NOT, HE CAN CHECK AND SEE IF ITS STILL AVAILABLE. I JUST HAD DEALER GET ME PARTS FOR MY WATER PUMP ON MY 1980 SRX FROM YAMAHA. 3:16 (yammie tony)

All the seals and gaskets for the oil pump drive are still available through Yamaha. You will probably need them all as you need to remove the entire oil pump drive assembly from the engine and dissassemble the gear case in order to replace the seal you are reffering to. There are a total of three gaskets and 3 seals that will cost about $25 from a dealer.
