thanks shortstop20 the seat was in pristine condition and works really well, goneblue i would say at least 6 inches, i have a totall rise with my handlebars of 13 inches and its perfect for sitting and standing and im 5'11''.

ya, the polaris shorties fit up nice. a lot of people like them cuz they are just enough seating that you need, and higher and fit a lot of sleds. they were a lot cheaper tho back when i bought mine (2 years ago). if you ever go to change anything about it, i recommend taking it to an upholstery shop and adding foam to the front so that its flat all the way to the tank, instead of the dip. it works out great that way.

yes they have just the right amount of room needed to sit and its another option to finding a boss seat.

I know they are 3" higher than the stock regular style Polaris seat, but not sure how much higher than the Viper seats.
