How tall of a Rox pivot riser can I put on my 02 Viper?

I'm curious... how does the pivot riser actually work? Is it 'on the fly' adjustable or does it require a rachet? I currently have a 2" riser on my viper and I'm considering going up to 3" and the pivot concept seems to be the way to go if it works how I think it does.

Rox makes two different kind of pivot risers. The basic one you have to loosen the bolts in the handle bar clamps to adjust it. Then they have a pivot rise that you can adjust the height by loosening cap screws on the riser to adjust it.

I have seen a pivot riser in the magazines that has wing bolts that you could adjust with out any tools. However I remember it being something like $300. G.B.

most pivot risers are your basic 2 pivot points top and bottom.you cant adjust on the fly.you set the riser in the position you like and thats where it stays.they do offer a height adjustable one so you can go from 4"-5.5" but they are more money and are not adjustable while riding.any questions let me know.

I got the 3.5 Rox pivot riser from Rich and it looks like it will work prety good, put me at a better position especially with my Excell seat riser, more rider forward.

...so the 3.5 pivot riser easily adjusts for different angles for a more or less forward riding position? I'm not looking to be able to adjust the height of the bars. I would like to be able to pivot it for a stand-up riding position and sit down position... is this possible with the ROX pivot riser?

Here's what you'll get. If you like your Viper with stock ergos, you'll love it with the Rox/Excell combo.

I think the 3.5" would be perfect although I don't think I would have managed to squeeze that one on my Viper. 2" was pretty tight especially with the electrical wires alone. The wife's S will be set up this way by the end of the week. I'm not even giving here the option of riding without the risrs. It makes THAT MUCH difference.

That almost looks like my setup, except for I have the 3.5 pivot riser. You just have to reroute everything to make the 3.5 fit. The pivot riser and seat riser make it a totally different machine(for the better!!) Perfect ergos with this setup
