Ok, I am being lazy (actually I just don't have any time to research) . . .
Has anybody put Apex bars on a Viper, and what did you end up doing with the CDI input/output connectivity, Switch difference, and Wattage issues?
I apologize, I haven't even looked at the electric specs or wiring diagram, or the dimensions yet. I just simply can't find time to do so.
Any input is welcome.

i started to but you have to take off the grips as the throttle block on the vipers is one piece and i have my bars up really high and didnt have a riser block to make up the difference. to much of a pain in ars. do a search on how to wire them, i believe if you kept them in paralell you would be fine or vice versa.

I did it LOOKS AWESOME. It was easy no issues at all. the handwarmers on the viper are the same besides the connectors are differnt. i just took about 3 inches of the old viper grips and spliced them onto the ends of the apex grips. everything works. you loose 3 inches i think? so i put a 6 inch riser on it(Powermadd pivot 3" and and 3" block). feels awesome cant wait to get on the snow.
Got any pics?

ever get any pics? you just match the same color wires together? really want to know what wires go where.....
It doesn't matter which wires go where for the protectors. If you want normal operation, one wire from the right goes in one wire on the stem, the other wire from the right goes to the left. The other wire on the left goes to the open wire on the post. For super hot pm me. Maxdlx

not me, still havent got this done. need a pic first to see exactly what it is I need to do lol!
It's not hard to do.
There is what appears to be one wire with a connector coming off each hand warmer on the apex bars. If you cut the wire, you'll see there are actually to small wire in there. There are also 2 small wires on either handwarmer on your viper bars and also two small wires coming from your sled, where you would normally plug in the stock hand warmers.
What you want to do is take one wire from the left hand warmer and splice it to one wire on the sled. Next splice the other wire that is on the same handwarmer and splice it into one of the 2 wires on the right handwarmer. Now take the remaining wire on the right handwarmer and splice it into the wire left over on the sled.
Here are some pics of my apex bars. Wires are consealed though, so they are no good for wiring questions...

thats cool, I appreciate your help anyways!
hmmm I've got a pair of 06' takeoffs sitting in the garage. 6 inch pivot riser with a 3 inch block you say? Everyone told me they wouldn't work...

OK look real close at the picyou will see I had it set up to run both ways. The wires on the right grip, get plugged right into the wires on the sled stem. Then the wires from the left grip plug into the extra plug ins on the right grip. this gives you super hot grips. If you unplug the left, and unplug one of the wires from the right from the stem, and plug the coresponding plugin from the left in there, and then plug the left over wire from the left and right together, you have factoy settings. I wired my AC m sled bars the same way and they are to hot wired for hi heat. they are a little easier to alter. They have 1 hot wire with 2 grounds. the grounds are for low and medium heat, and both ground for hi. I have them both grounded right now, and am going to unhook the low side. Your adjustable warmrs still work too, it is just on lowest setting it is to hot on a 25 degree day. I surely hope this completely confusses you all. LOL Maxdlx

holy chit, that is complex for such a seemingly simple task lol!
