Heres the boots that stretchSXV is talking about: http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/apparel/apscitemdetail/1/18/14/1/6426/detail.aspxstretchSXV said:I was looking at the Mountain Trail Boot by yamaha but wanna know which one leaks water. Any pics of the Baffin boats?
They are only comfort rated to -11 F, which would lead me to believe they arent much of a boot. I guess you cant expect much for $50 though.
Heres the boots Im getting: http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/apparel/apscitemdetail/1/18/14/1/6938/detail.aspx
Those are comfort rated to -76 F (and there aint no way Im going to be outside if its anywhere near that cold) and go for $125.
Let us know if either of those boots are the ones that you have, NYsledneck.

if it gets to be more than -11F then my butt ain't going out LOL. I can't have boots rated for that cold -76F. My feet sweat to much. I have the same problem with hunting boots. Plus I'm Cheap. Can't justify $130 4 boots

The boots i have are the polar boots. Mine are the 2007 model though but look to be made the same. Actually here is the post i made last winter after wearing them for the 1st time.

Boots
These are the yamaha boots that i bought
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/apparel/apscitemdetail/1/18/14/1/5052/detail.aspx
They are the Glacier boots from Yamaha. At first i didn't think i would like them because when they are new they are stiff (Just like a Snowboard Boot). After a couple of weeks they broke in. In the past i am usally the one with cold feet and with these boots my feet don't get cold or wet. And they also offer Excellent Protection, a very tough boot.

Im sure I could get them from my local dealer for about that same price. In the past year I bought an '06 YFZ 450, '06 YZ 250F and spent a lot of money in accessories and apparel, so they take care of me and usually hook me up pretty well.stretchSXV said:octane. Thanks for mentioning it though.

Outstanding boot for the money... I have the previous version and I have yet to have cold/wet feet. Very warm and light!

Klim gore-tex boots, bibs, etc are water proof and breathable, best warranty, the best gear IMO.
