I just brought my new ride home yesterday, Needed good clean up so I'll post some pics soon. I plan on going threw the Carbs and cleaning since the gas is 3 years old ( does have stable atleast and only 1/8 of a tank). I was wondering after I drain gas tank and clean the carbs should I drop some Yamaha lube down each cylinder?. The sled runs great and had no problem on and off the Truck power wise. The sled is all original, belt, plugs, hyfax with 1200 miles, but hasn't seen but maybe 100 miles since 03. It was stored inside, has no rust and seems to clean right up. I am working on pipe and silencer( never dull) and will be buffing the tunnel soon. I know the shocks were not revalved but I like to ride hard and am in the 230lb range so I think I will wait and see how it rides. Anyone else try the same? My last sled was a 99 SRX with long travel upgrade and liked the ride over my wifes Vmax(Too Soft)I liked my firmer ride. I was thinking of taking my stickers off and changing over to the red Vipers Black sticker's or just white diamonds like Hauks V4? Anyway just my thoughts, stuck here at work when I could be home cleaning the Viper.

Nice Ride! A great upgrade is a Ripsaw track, much better then the stock one.
Put on on my 03 Viper. You'll have to remove the tunnel and heat exchangers

I would leave the stiff shocks in it,I put the soft ones that Yamaha offered and they were way to soft for me! Have fun with the new Viper!!

if you want it black, i still have my coul, all you would need to do is to get a seat or change your seat color and ski tips.
change the shock valving at a minimum. the valving is too stiff a return for the spring and will pump up on multiple bumps. there were some service updates for that sled that may not have been done, check the vin at a dealer.

All, Has anyone taken the SXViper sticker off the sides of thier Vipers? I have never cared for the Font, Just seems too large and not clean like SRX. Why not just SXV?
