I used to use Pennzoil snowmobile oil in my ZR's ZRT's & T-CAT'S with zero problems. I now have a SRX and was thinking of using it again. But I was wondering how it would do with my powervalves? Anyone use this oil with powervalves?
Thanks

I wouldn't use it, stick with somthing you know that works and memebers
on here have used, i love using Amsoil's interceptor,i use it in all my sleds
PV's or not, there's aslo KLOTZ, bluemarble and some others that the members can vouch for that keep PV's clean..:)

I use Penn in all my sleds and never had a problem 8756mi on one of my 700's and never had to touch the motor. knock on wood!!

I think I am going to give it a try. I have never had a oil related failure on a sled. Besides it's 11.79 a gallon. Have used both Yamalube and amsoil intercepter in my SRX in the past and the valves looked the same using both. I think if I ran it with zero probelms in a 1004 ported T-Cat with a set of 190 psi heads and triple D&D pipes on it in the grass and on the lake it will be fine in a SRX.

My PV's on interceptor have been clean, good luck with the Pennz..

Amsoil is a full synthetic oil also, very good for your motor is the Pennz?

Pennzoil is an ASH based oil ( from what i can remember) and ash based oils didnt hold up really well when it was REALLY COLD outside!!! (look at ME trying to start something :)
