I have picked up a Viper S thanks to SNEKY1 with low miles and stock rear suspension that is non rebuildable but has a variable rate shock. If I was to replace these what would be as good or better than the stock set? I have a pair of original 02 viper hard shocks & the optional soft set I can work with. I am 160lbs & ride alot of fast studder to medium bump trails. Who has had theirs rebuilt & are very happy with them, which ones hard or soft, where were they rebuilt & what revalving was done?

Check the yamaha parts classifieds - I have a great pair of Ohlins that would wotk excellent on your viper S - they are from my Viper S!
