Cant do much more with the head gasket since there o-ring, you can have your heads milled. If A/M go V-Force 2 or Yamaha ONLY for reeds. And for top end parts go here:
www.powerpartsplus.com Top End Rebuild shouldnt run ya more than $400-$500.

ya i was thinking the base gasket mod where you use take out 1 base gasket and mill the heads down 10 or 20 thou

Get a hold of Mrviper and get it ported, you won't believe the difference it will make. Porting alone is worth around 15 hp. Talk to Don before you do anything!

should i be doing main bearings the same time as the top end i have approx 13,000 kms on the sled so just deciding what to do will it run another 2-3000 or not??? wanna keep the sled for another year then get rid of it

Roll all the crank bearings and see how loose they feel. They should have no side to side play at all, and definately no radial play either. They should roll smoothly and have no visible damage to the races or balls. Crank bearings aren't cheap so if you dont plan on keeping the sled long you will probably not want to replace all of them for insurance. Using a good oil and not leaning down your oil pump goes a long way in bearing life as well.
