I just picked up 6 5.38 polaris wheels, but noticed a problem on the install.

the front wheels touch each other #$%&* . To correct this what do i need to do?

should i move my front wheels forward or bring the 2nd wheels back 3/4"

or should i jsut turn them down a 1/16???

they could be aftermkt but they have the polaris indy design

just measuered them with a dial caliper and they are 5.600.

so can i run these, if i move the second wheel back abit.

thinking maybe sloting the holes jsut anough to move them back 1/16 or drilling new holes about 3/4" back to give myself proper edge distance from the previous hole

Wheels 5.600

I run all six wheels 5.60 and find the skid runs cooler in marginal conditions. Works fine.

never had a problem with my install.

I got 4 5.38 wheels from richierich.

they fit perfect although there isnt very much space between them

the wheels I reccomend are the std indy wheels from mid 80-90's, they are 5.350" diameter, just plain black like the yamaha ones, sold everywhere for about $12.00-15.00 each and bolt right on using your stock plastic wheel bushings, no moving wheel blocks or any funky stuff, strictly bolt on and ride.

Do you guys know the size of the bearings that go in these? I want to make sure I don't screw this up when I go to order them. Are they 20mm inside diameter or 25mm? Or are they 3/4 inside?

25mm, its your stock plastic yamaha bushing you reuse that makes it fit your wheel block on your skid. The 3/4" size listed for the polaris wheels is the plastic bushing polaris uses, the bearing itself is 25mm i.d.
