Hey Guys, Im looking for some input here. Im going with turks setup for clutching my 01 srx. The setup calls for 4.5 rivits in the outer holes. What are the rivits in there now and do I need to change them? If so is there any trick to removing the rivits and putting the new rivits back in? I was just looking at the weights and the rivits kinda look the same as the new ones I got. Thanks John

Marty, Yes that is the setup im going with, I will look again but both the stock rivits looked the same. Is there a noticable difference when looking at the rivits?

one is gold ( 4.5g?) the other lighter one is silver?
the easiest way to remove is take a drill bit smaller than the hole ( which is even smaller than the peened over head of the rivit) and drill the rivit head
about 1/8 or 1/16" deep
then take a small punch and hammer and punch out the rivit.
install the new one and pound like you know what to peen the head over. make sure it is tight( no slop) as the clearance on the clutch spider is tight around the swing weights.
