I want to thank everyone on this site for the great information and assistance over the years. After 20 yrs on Yamaha I have decided to try something else. I have yet to find a site that even comes close to this one. Once again thanks for the best site out there. I will continue to check in. If anyone knows a good Polaris site please let me know.

Polaris huh? Wow, you are really going to step onto the wild side. Lol j/k! Have fun and let us know how you like whatever you are getting. Don't forget about us poor lonely guys over here!!! lol

Polaris? What were you thinking? Oh wait, nevermind. :bump:

<------------------

I've never had anyone tell me I'm not welcome here(well at least not seriously), so you should feel the same. Enjoy your new sled. It doesn't really matter what you ride, as long as you ride. What model did you buy anyways?

when are you going to get back into the Yamaha scene?...sled wise i know you got the bike.

if it makes you feel better, you can tell all your yamaha friends that you doing some undercover work for ty and to keep it a secret.

Thanks, I ended up getting a leftover 07 600cfi switchback. I was not quite ready for the 4 stroke but I am sure I will be back to blue in a few years.

Hopefully I'll get to demo a FX Nytro MTX this year in West Yellowstone if we go again. I would also like to ride a Dragon 800 RMK again, rode a prototype last year but I want to see if they got the EFI tuning figured out. It ran pretty rich when I rode it and it had a bog. Whatever sled I like better is what I'm going to buy, plain and simple. Only thing that concerns me about the Nytro is the weight, I want to make sure I can handle it before I decide to buy one. I don't think it will be a problem though.

You will love the IQ chassis. Great ergos, handling and suspension. Pretty much a solid sled all the way around except for the right side panel doesn't line up with the hood worth a #$%&* .

You're not welcome here. There I said it. Anyone agree? Lol just kidding man. We even welcome ARCTIC CAT GUYS here! haha

Good luck!

If I was to leave the blue team and buy a new 2 stroke, I would buy a Polaris IQ. I rented an 07' 600 CFI IQ in Canada last year after I lost a crank bearing on my Viper earlier in the season. I really liked it. The 600 CFI motor runs really strong and the IQ rides and handles really well. After a couple hunderd miles, the only thing I didnt like was my hot feet. You could ride the IQ with tennis shoes on if it is around freezing outside.

G.B.

I never noticed the heat when I rode it but I have heard many people complain about that. I have colder feet than most people anyways so it's not a bad thing for me I guess. I used to think the Arctic Cat M-series chassis was pretty sweet until I rode the pre-production '08 RMK 800. I liked the RMK better in every way. Not to mention that I could check my plugs if needed on the RMK without having to take the pipe off the sled. It's a PITA to check plugs on an M-Series sled.
