Best after market ski's!

I have Powderhounds on my Attak and love them. Have 7" C@A Pros on the Viper and they work very well. They are a much heavier feeling ski than the Powderhounds. The Powderhounds float well and steer well, with about half the effort of the Powderhounds. BUT, the C@A turn RIGHT NOW!!! They are more of a workout, but you can't go wrong with either choice. And if you go with C@A, go with Rich. Great service and great prices.

I've heard a few guys say that the Powderhounds work great off trail but not quite aggressive enough on trails. It all depends on your riding style really. Some like a super aggressive ski(C&A's), some like a more passive ski like the Slydog's.

Richierich-
Could you let me know the width of Simmons skis and the Yamaha mountains?
On the Simmons site they have generation I and II listed, but no explanation of the difference. What is it?
Do you have a cross section view of the Yamaha mountain skis that you could post?
Prices?
Are there mounts for a Phazer II?

Does anybody know what I would do about buying replacement carbides for the c&a's? Are they only made by c&a, or can I get them from kimpex, or some other brand?

OK, thanks a lot rich. I wasn't sure if I would be forced into buying more expensive carbides straight from c&a. For some reason I thought that they might own the rights to make those carbides or something, and therefor could charge whatever they wanted.

I'll deff let you know when I finally decide to upgrade to the plastic skis. Thanks for your help!
