Scored a rx-1 helix off ebay. I was going to use it with a green secondary, 8dn20's & www primary. It was a package sale, so I have the stock weights & both stock springs. Are the weights or springs an option to use or should I stick with the original plan? If they won't work, they are for sale or trade.
BTW...2003 rx-1 into '99 srx.
Thanks, Fro.

I`ve used Hauck RX adjustable weights in SRX clutch and those fit/work well.

Stock rx-1 weights are 76 grams. The 8dn-20,s are 50 something grams loaded up. So; nope; they won,t work & the primary spring does not have enuff preload for proper engagement.
how mutch the bid finish for the helix on ebay have seen them too...

you can not use rx1 weights in a non four stroke clutch. the weights are really flat and when they swing out they will hit the inside of the spider. the four strokes have a spider that has a section missing from it(rectangular hole) so the weights will swing through.
it is hard to beat that 8dn 20 setup in a srx, there is a reason it has been done to death.
