Wow, I would have guessed that the piston on the right was the best looking one. My pistons look like that, and my plugs read good? (Besides my center that went BANG!!)
Hey CHEVY!! I noticed you're jetted fatter on your mag, what's up with that? My 99 is fatter on the PTO and the same across the others. ( I got it like this and don't know why it's set like this...)

ya thats what i thought that they didnt look lean my guess would have been they are rich and the left side one looks close.....triple thats according to my yammy owners manual and yammy shop manual the 2 smaller jets go in the pto and center and the bigger one goes in the mag side.....this is on a 98 not sure if the 99's were the same or not....have heard around 2000 or so they switched it to the biggest jet on the pto side....somebody on here should know for sure

left is on, center is getting leaner, and the right is lean. the left is exactly what you see as an example of properly jetted.

could a mismatched pilot have anything to do with this....for some reason when i went to clean my carbs i noticed the pilots are 42.5, 42.5 and 40 on the right cyl???....my idle screws are set at 1.5 turns open...
pilot jet are suppose to be all the same ......

I would not have used Dominator chevyracer, that oil is more intended for racing purposes only(pre mix, little thicker, etc.) you need Interceptor for your PV's to help 'em stay clean, interceptor is for oil injected sleds and has more detergents added to help clean the pv's.chevyracer68 said:as far as oil went to clean my pv's and man were they ever carboned with only 200 or so kms on them running shell advance.....got the tank emptied and full of dominator.....getting closer
