I've never tried HC and will give them a try. Most on here seem to really like them. They are on now...so all I need now is snow. I checked engagement and it seems to be where it needs to be at about 4800 RPM's.

I use the same tool as Turk shows but I drilled a hole in my workbench and bolted one end to the bench... works slick. Or... I drilled a hole in a piece of 2x8 about 2 feet long and bolt it to that, then when I go to the lake to do some testing, screw one end of the 2x8 to the deck of your snowmobile trailer w/a cordless screwgun, and you've got a pretty decent workbench.

I had an idea today! I was thinking I will have to take the clutch apart again someday and I want this to be easy. Here's my idea. It cost 7 bucks for the (I think 20 MM) bolt that holds the clutch on. Why couldn't a person buy that bolt and weld the threaded rod to it. Use a jam nut on it to thread it in (if needed) then use the washer and bearing to draw the cover into place.
I have never removed the primary clutch from a sled so I don't know how much work or special tools are involved in that?
