I Read On Here All The Time About People Pinning There Sled And Pulling The Skis______ I Have A 98 Srx 700 Triple With Out Studs And I Have Never Been Able To...... The Straps Are Loose And Even Standing On The Grab Bar I Cant What Is Wrong??? Any Advise Plz

Get aftermarket transfer rods, all the difference in the world. The 1st time I rode my SRX it wouldn't turn....had the transfer rods adjusted to maxx travel....skis where up in the air for almost 1/2 mile!

I got mine from Hi performance engineering....they are located in the rear of the rear suspension 1 rod on each side about 1 ft long depending on year. The OEM ones have removable/changable white spacers, the aftermarkets are tunable on the trail.

They are located here on the rear skid. The ones you see in the picture are made by Bender.

i might have a set coming up for sale soon, took my proaction out for a edge and i have a set of bender TC3's on it.....

<<< they work good :)

Get some transfer rods and stud that badboy!
She'll stand for ya. I can carry the skis pretty much whenever I want on my ol 98 srx7.
When I have it set to max with the limeters out, i can get skis 3-4 feet in the air!
First time I stood on the rear bumper and let her go, I almost shat myself!
I have the same bender rods in valins picture.
Cheers,
Rick.

Well as much fun it is to have ski's 3 feet in the air(been there),your steering does not work well. Now I have the adj. trans rods and with them adj. right along with limiters,I just want to lift a tad off the snow and prefer to have good traction and holeshot. But don't get me wrong..it is kinda fun when you are cat walking for sure.

Thats right, it kills the handling and the ride plus it can break the front w arms very quickly.Set it up with enough transfer to hook up decent, much more than this when the skis are way up in the air is just wasted energy.

The best cheap improvments I've seen on my Viper were Transfer rods and Torque limitor...I never thought I'd notice a difference but wanted the instant adjustability(Trods)...but when I threw em on...wow...night and day for myself...
I could get the skis up a bit...or keepem firmly planted...I loved that option without pulling out the wrenches..Mine were the Max Perf rods.but the quick nutz should work aswell..

good luck..

yeah, at full tansfer it will do crazy stuff, ideally my sled is setp up to have 4" of lif tand hover them there i have found this to be the best for racing
