It only does it at idle. I had the screws at 2 1/8 because of the whole idle hang thing, but I think that was caused by not getting the passages completely clean and restricting the fuel. So now i suppose i should really go back a little...lol this will be the 5th time pulling the carbs...but its all good

Yeah that helps, but how do you prefer to do that? I pushed 1/4" bolts into the hoses and put the clamps on, but the next morning there was a puddle of coolant on the floor because they leaked, I'm guessing they leaked around the threads even though they fit in there tightly.
I have a dozen or so bolts diferent sizes, all 3" & cut the threads off, rounded thed smoth...as well as clamping them...nothing pretty but it works...RTYsxv said:Yeah that helps, but how do you prefer to do that?
