DOES ANYONE HAVE THESE CLUTCH COMPONENTS FOR SALE???? AND IF NOT HOW MUCH CAN I EXPEXT TO SPEND FOR THESE PARTS NEW?????Clarkster-1 said:8dn-20 weights 4.5 grams inner and outer, stock primary spring, 53/43 or 51/ 45 helix with a green secondary spring at 70 degrees wrap. If your engine is near stock and at low altitude this will be close and you will have to tune depending on what helix you end up with and your weight.

ANY IDEAS ON WHERE I CAN BUY THESE COMPONENTS USED OR IF NOT HOW MUCH ARE WE TALKING FOR NEW STUFF?/???YamerDown said:*****EDITED TO BE ULTRA CLEAR*****
Last year when I ran my 114MPH setup the sled was bone stock other then engine torque limiter, 144 trail studs, rear exchanger, reverse and obviously the clutch components. Stock single pipe into stock can. Machine had 7,000km on it and badly worn piston rings (check out the blow by in my working log). Even had the stupid original track on it and the stock gearing.
It did NOT have triple pipes and it did NOT have oversized idler wheels.
When you get there you will know.... dream-o-meter will read 126MPH. Multiply speedo reading by 0.905 to get a more accurate indication of how fast you are going.

I was always told that heel clickers are faster low too mid range but are slower on top end!

85.00 Shipped. Paypal only. PM me your info if your interested. It's coming from Canada so it could take 2 weeks to get to you.
lol, only slow on top if you don't change to a shallow helix. Do some search of MrViper's posts.
SledDon - got all my stuff used off TY for $150 US last year. You just can't be in a hurry. Also, not to step on anyones toes but the 53/43 is way too steep for heel clickers. You want something closer to 48/34 or 50/36.
As for my setup, search my ID and the words "heel tip" and you will find it. Think the post was titled "clutching an 03 viper" or something close to that.

parts for the heel clicker set up or some other set up?
You guys should be asking buffalobob for help, he should be able to get you set up deep into overdrive and use a roller secondary clutch, big secondary springs, lower gears, everything you already have for grass dragging you can use to rule the lake!

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION I NEED PARTS FOR THE HEEL CLICKER SET UP. I AM ASSUMING YOU HAVE TO BUY THE ADDED WEIGHTS, AND SECONDARY SPRING SEPERATLY. ALSO WHAT WEIGHT COMBO (HEEL, CENTER, TIP) WORKS BEST FOR LAKE RACE AND AGRESSIVE TRAIL???mrviper700 said:parts for the heel clicker set up or some other set up?

I used 4.0 grams heel, 3.3 center and 4.3 tip, red primary spring, 48/34 helix with stock red secondary spring at 90 for trail, if you get out on the lake just drop your secondary back to 70 it will pick up alot more speed.
Now I dont know anything about clutching and making a sled go faster, so you better ask buffalobob how to properly tune the clutchs,he should be able to set you right up

if you are on a budget get a pin kit from straightline perfofmance install a set of a54 cat weights take .5 of a gram off of toe gives much better belt squeeze for top end runs if you do this watch the toe of the weights make sure they clear clutch set many vipers this way better top end numbers you can do alot more the down side it drop engagment down to 3500 but not a issue if you are not racing 660 the sled ive done will outpull a stock f7 also more top end
