help with heat exchanger

Hey guys im trying to help a friend with his sled. The front heat exchanger is leaking on his 92 yamaha exciter. What is the best way to get the heat exchanger out ( I have never did this) Does it come out from the bottom by the track or do i have to take the motor out ?

well what you could do is pull the skid out then take the whole sled to a
welding shop and have 'em weld it up, that's IF it's up front where you
could get at it to weld.....good luck

j.b. weld. cheap fix and will last forever. had to do this to a 94 v-max about 10 years ago and it still is not leaking.
