washers were 2MM thick. I put 3 inthere I bought from ace plus the stock washer is still on there. My belt delflection is beautiful!!! Nice and tight and not quite making the squeeling like a pig noise. I guess it just goes to show that every same sled is not he same sled. There will always be varying this and that and adjustments.
Don you fixed the center to center I think didnt you? , If I remeber correctly you did it right in front of me.

Its all the stuff set together that makes it work correctly, now in hindsight for you, look at how many things were off from the last time you set it up. By the looks of your post lately its the right parts now and set up right, now she will perform!! Good Job!!
its fine on the c to c and offset, now just ride it!

Yea it should take down some pretty big sleds when I go up there next month.
Tonight I finished correcting the camber. My ski bottoms are 100% parallel with the ground as measuring the ski height on each side of the ski. They are the same height on both sides now.
My toe out is set perfect and I have bergstorms shim kit on the saddle. All the pressure is on the carbide. When I turn the handle bar it feels like the front of the sled is in the air. All smaller wheels are 5.38 with fresh lithium grease.
Only thing I would really like to get for it now is some 7.5 inch 440 SRX wheels. And I think the old vintage wheels would look pretty cool on it. I just shut the garage down after I finished up the ski alignment aand I armored -alled all the leather and plastic up very nice

Tomseal6, I'm gonna throw this at ya...I was under the impression that some viper are c.c. = flush to the top & other like the viper is above...now this said, I seem the remember that the twins are flush & the triples are above...now was your sled set up certain way for drags...maybe mrv set it up that way...tomseal6 said:I can just barely feel the edge of the belt over my secondary. I will go get another set of washers at ace hardware in a few.
I will be finishing up with my new carbides and putting the bergstrom shim kit in the saddle. I also have to correct the camber on 1 side yet.
From the SRX shop manual. 1.5MM above the top. You will always have a performance gain if it sits higher and tighter no matter what sled you run.
Mrviper did the port work and some tune-up adjustments. That is all he was paid to do. He gave me a complete set-up reccomendation and some other performance add-on tips for free of what to run in it.
