YOU GUYS THINK I AM NUTS. MY MONEY ON THE VIPER. NOW I ASSUME THE F-7 HERE IS A MORTAL ONE AND THEIR VERY , VERY BEATABLE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

raced a well set up f7 last year on a lake he would pull my clutched viper till about 90mph i meen off the start like 3 sleds then i would catch him and pass with the dreamometer at about 105mph and he would be a couple sleds behind at 114-117 on the dream.

should mention the f7 was set up for drag.

stock fo rstock i think a 03 f7 would eat a viper. well the viper would eventually win once the cat blows up

Why does everybody have to race? Why cant we just ride our sleds and be happy. I know this is going to open a can of worms but let me have it.

I have ran a few f7s with my 04 viper s.0-90 the f7 will spank the viper but top end on a lake the viper will pull away.Depending on the model(sno pro, standard) there seems to be a big difference in top end on some f7's.I know a guy who says he cant break 100 mph with his f7 and then i see others doing 112.Stock vs Stock it seems the f7 is quicker but the viper is faster top end.I raced four of them on lake of bays,we ran for about 2 miles and not one of them caught me.I was showing 119 mph indicated.

NOW I FIGURE THERE IS PROBLEY 10 SLED LENTGHS DEFFERENCE BETWEEN EVERY DAY F-7 AND THE HOT RACE ECU F-7,s. HELL VIPER HAVE A GREAT CHANCE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I thought I remembered seeing that the aerodynamics (coefficient of drag) were not that great for the F series sleds. There is no doubt f7s put out really nice hp (140), but this may have something to do with the 20+ hp underdog can pull away from an f7 on top end.

ACTUALLY FIRST 2003 F-7,s WERE 132 hp. NOW THINK OF THIS. I HAVE SEEN THE 2003 DYNOED AS HIGH AS 156.8 WHEN DONE ADDING ALL THE RACE GOODIES BUT THAN UNTRAILABLE. THERE IS THE 10 SLED LENGTH DEFFERENCE. ALL I AM SAYING IS THERE IS A VERY WIDE GAP ON THE F-7,s YOU SEE USED FOR EVERYDAY SNOWMOBILEING. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I was reading an old (04) american snowmobiler mag last night and they said the early F7's had 140 hp, and the later ones were down on power compared to the ones made very early. This was the shootout edition of the mag with a red Venom on the cover.

THAT MAGAZINE HAS IT BACKWARDS. THE F-7 HAD MOST HP WHEN IT WENT TO THE DIAMOND DRIVE WHICH I THINK WAS 2005. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I ride with a couple F7's and an F6. I can usually fly past the F6 at over 80 and start catching the F7's at 100 mph. anything over 107 mph on the dream meter and the F7's are history. G.B.

You will have to pipe a viper to make it beat a F-7. Weight between the sleds is not too far off.

I have a hard time on my SRX with a F-7 in 500 feet when they are set-up properly.

Lake Of Bays! Now that a place to flat out racing, lol. Same place I smoked the Rev 800 HOs with my clutched Viper.
