VMax running rich

Got a 99 vmax 500, fouls plugs bout every 25 miles. When i bought the sled it had br8es plugs instead of 9's. Should i drop the needle one clip and see how it does?

When does it seem to foul 'em out, @ take off, Mid, or top end?

did you go right though the carbs when ya got it?,clean 'em set to spec,etc,etc.?

Yeah i did go through em, they were pretty good. I assume that this was a problem for the previous owner too. Thing runs ok, but its too rich. Any suggestions???

Need to know then is it rich low mid top,?

are your jets/needle's @ stock spec's? where are they?
