I caught my right ski on something today. Threw me off, I'm ok, but the right ski was toed in quite a bit. I straightened it out using the spindle spline, and I'm getting a new spindle. Everything else looks ok. Anything else I should check?
Thanks,
Bob

check the trailing arm and radius rods, few years ago i put my ski into a culvert and screwed everything, lol just go over the parts and make sure theres no bends or cracks in them
So far everything else looks ok. Is it common that a spindle twists? I'm think that's what happened, because the spline didn't look messed up.

Possible that it twisted, but I would really look over the ENTIRE system, including the steering shaft and ALL linkages, rod ends, etc. There are weaker components in the system than a spindle!

i twisted a spindle in mine, hit a rock the wrong way on the trail i guess, didnt screw anything els up but the spindle.... kinda weird but i guess it does happen
Happened 3 times with my 02 ER model. Often enough that I have 2 spares in the garage LOL! I think the longer spindle lenght creates more force to the front suspension when striking something. I have bent several trailing arms, but have only hit something hard one time. I guess they are kind of like a fuse. Something designed to bend or break to keep from damaging a tunnel or other parts.
Thanks for all the replies.
