Need 8 tooth for srx. Who makes best ones. Was thinking about wahl bros. but looking for some input. Anybody know if mountain max used 8 tooth extroverts. Wahl bros. says you can run just middle 2 sprockets. Any problems with this?
Wahl's are fine unless your into turbo power. To my knowledge Yamaha has never put extros on a stock sled. Yep you can just run the two middle ones.

ski doo's have been highly spoken about, but i don't know if they come in 8 tooth. someone just posted about them too, and how the runout on them was almost non-existent, and that wahl's runout was terrible
extros are stock on the MTN Apex arent they?
Maybe they did. I forget about the new four stroke stuff. Still wrenching on smokers.

Apex mtn comes with them stock, Best are the Avid drivers, then your choice on the ski-doo ones and Wahl, and Mpi. I am 99% sure Wahl and Mpi are both made by ppd (cdn wheel maker) and there should be no reason to run more than 2 drivers unless it is required for big boost.

doo ones in 8 tooth arent correct pitch.they do make them in 9 and 10 though.
yamaha extroverts only run thru track window....unlike the aftermarket ones and doo that run thru window and on track drive knobs.

Just did 9t 2.52p doo extros on a friends poo. I'll check with him but I'm pretty sure they were for a 04 Summit 800. $49.95 each and they worked real well. Nice and true and double outside cogs as well as the extro drive cogs. I don't think any of doos rev sleds came with 8t drivers, most with 9 or 10 in 2.52 pitch.

DO NOT use the 8t part # they are for 3" drive pitch.the other #'s are fine.doo doesnt make a 2.52" pitch 8t anti-driver.trust me i learned the hard way by trusting what someone posted on the 4stroke side about the part # for 8t.
